Biography My Musical Journey From
the beginning of my birth, in my blood there was a music and rhythm cause
my mum was an artist (dancer). She performed lots of programs during her
period. She achieved awards from His Majesty King Mahendra Bir Bikram
Shah Dev. So, I think in my blood (DNA) there was a rhythm of music. Keeping
it in mind, I built up an aim to be a guitarist one-day, time has changed
me as a singer. But still I am learning Guitar. In 1994, I took a second step to my musical career by joining Suskera club, in Hetauda Sanopokhara, while my interests were to more knowledge in field of music, and learn quite a lot how to sing and play guitar. We usually gathered and jammed together in Suskera. I used to play bass guitar and sing a song (vocalist), Surendra Thakuri on rhythm plus vocal, Shailesh Shrestha on lead guitarist, Drum and Cango created by Gyanu Thapa and Ram Karki, Laxman Shah on keyboard, music arrange by Ishore Khadka, Other Members Rajesh Manadhar, Rabin Manadhar, Santosh Lamichane. Later on, I grew in the band as a singer. I used to sing different songs in various concerts. I did all the local stage concerts everywhere school, college, street concerts stadium and I spent 3-4 years with band but even with our hard work and all we could not do any better. There were so many things frustrating us lack of money, management etc. I had already traveled through various bands, which had spilt and reformed time to time. Never the less, the occasional concerts contributed to my career to greater extent. But it was in the band Suskera that I got a chance to sing and produce two songs in the album, Unfortunately, we had to stop this album due to technical errors and inadequate preparation of the band before bringing up the album in the market the album was under construction but still it is under construction. After that, Tularam Thapa Sir guided. He suggested me and Surendra Thakuri to jointly prepare an album. So, we joined together and go through the album. We composed our first song 'Preeti ka Geet' but I recorded 'Aadhyaro yo raat ko…'at Cine Sound studio. It was our first time in studio and we all were very nervous. We did couple of takes and at last we did it. So, we started our album. Surendra and I faced different types of experience 'cause we don't have any ideas of it. We were just stepping in it that was amazing for the beginning. I still remember the day; I was innocent about arranging the sound track. After completing out eight songs track, we were searching for a name but finally our Bhim Birag Sir named as " Chinari", the first presentation of Hetauda, Makwanpur. We made a History in Makwanpur District in the fields of music. We are the first people who released first album in Makwanpur. We premier the album among the great crowed people of Hetauda. Our chief guest was ministry of Information Kamal Thapa in premier. The album was a great success. 'Chinari', about it or that time the Wave; a very popular magazine published "CHINARI HETAUDA'S FIRST PRESENTATION". "It is the first attempt of two Hetauda lads to make a mark or give their Chinari in the world of music. The duo serve us with a collection of eight tracks. The album showcases the various moods of the duo. However, it is no different from the various albums that are being generated at a blistering pace. With stereotyped themes (romance and heartbreaks) the songs fail to impress. A fusion of western and eastern sounds, the first number Bhuli deu is only innovative track. Madal and percussions are used very effectively to give it an ethnic feel. Manai Chori backed piano works is bland. Aanshu Vijyo is an offbeat track. Traditional leather instruments and the sarangi have been used but it fails to impress. Clearly audible that they are beginners. The songs sound monotonous and amatuerish one after another. Once listened they have the knack to be easily forgotten. Their Chinari and introductory album is nothing writing home about." After the Chinari album, I became solo singer by 1996. I was preparing for my own solo album but did not have enough money for recording. During that period I was student. The fire with me did not subside despite the failure but I grew up more and more enabling me to produce a solo album entitled 'Preeti ka Geet'. The album became very popular among music listeners. The rock number 'Jeevan Hamro…' was hit among teenagers. The song 'Jeevan Hamro…' top the music charts for several months because of its catching melody and about "Preeti ka Geet" or that time the wave magazine published, "Preeti ka Geet" is not strictly pop. Bikram Rajbanshi has tried to throw in a variety, and has managed a pretty good job. Mixing pop and folk is so 'in' these days; it's almost a ritual. So, in 8 songs in the album, one is folk based, one is the line of adhunik geets, and rest the usual pop. All in all, no surprises, an average album." Although, I had sang different songs in different collection album for example Hetauda hits collection, Hedambi and many more. Now, I am back once again with my new album. I have tried to give my best to my dear listeners, in which I consists 10 songs with different melodious couple of them with experimentation, other flowing with romantic as well as contextual music trend. The lyrics and music of the album are taken from various lyricists and composer including fresh and experienced. I'm hopeful that the albums will catcher to the listeners of all tastes. The flavors of melodies are focused mainly to the music lover. And I hope you like it unusual Bikram Rajbanshi songs. Hope you will like the music vedio as well. Lastly, I want to thanks each and every person who has helped in anyway throughout my career to get this peak of success and popularity. All the fans, people, friends and families all the media………..thank you so much. My music journey continues……………… |
